Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience and fluoroscopy imaging experience for a 26-week outpatient pain management assignment in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient pain management center setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 26-week contract
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Responsibilities include determining appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient condition to produce quality diagnostic images
- Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning
- Records digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintains pertinent records
- Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
- May assist Radiology Technologist students and new staff with radiologic exams, sterile technique, and supply management
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or paid public parking recommended (approximately $17–$22/day)
- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Fluoroscopy imaging experience required
- Active MA license required; conditional licenses not accepted
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Epic EMR experience
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
