Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient sports medicine travel assignment in Franklin, NC.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient sports medicine setting at a critical access hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Mixed outpatient patient population with no double booking or overlapping patients
• Evaluation sessions are 60 minutes; follow-up sessions are 40 minutes
• Productivity goal of 70% (approximately 2.7 units per hour, with evaluations weighted by complexity)
• Clinicians are not responsible for scheduling or insurance operations
• NetHealth/Redoc EMR used for documentation
• On-site manager present during shifts
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• The facility is a newly opened, state-of-the-art critical access hospital featuring three ORs, a 17-bed emergency department, and dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces
• The hospital has received recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and holds multiple quality achievement awards from the Joint Commission and American Heart Association

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience, with active practice within the last 6 months
• Current PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
