Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring 18 months to 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Large academic Level 1 trauma center with 30+ ORs, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
- X-Ray department supporting a high-acuity, high-volume hospital setting
- Procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, ER, OR, and surgery/C-arm imaging
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens imaging systems
- Charting performed in Cerner
- Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
- Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this Allied position
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted) required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency with extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, ER, OR, and surgery/C-arm procedures
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
- Active Indiana or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
- Graduate of a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
