Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position in Kansas, requiring an active KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

• 28-bed medical unit serving general medical patients including cardiology, pulmonary, neurology, and nephrology cases
• 22-bed surgical unit serving general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and ENT patients
• 24-hour hospitalist coverage is available on the unit
• Staffing ratio goal of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Night shift: 18:30–07:00
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact multistate RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
