Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient acute care hospital position requiring BLS, state licensure, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting with a focus on acute care and inpatient rehabilitation evaluation
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 schedule)
• Weekend rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks; when working a weekend, the PT receives one day off the week before and one day after
• Holiday rotation required, approximately one holiday per year
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid state PT license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be comfortable performing acute care and inpatient rehab evaluations
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with a lab coat
• Fit testing for a standard respirator mask is required; candidates must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted on-site, with no exceptions
