Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an inpatient Adult Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) night shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Rehab/Med-Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Rehab/Med-Surg patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Rotating weekends required (every other weekend)
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Black scrubs are required; no other scrub colors are accepted
• Flu vaccination is mandatory for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations and exceptions are not accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be billed at a reduced rate
• Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after completing 3 consecutive contracts, a 1-year separation from the facility or a transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment will be accepted unless documentation of a scheduled renewal is provided

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or a compact RN license that meets eligibility requirements for licensure in Missouri
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Rehab or Med-Surg RN experience
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs are not accepted)
