Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week outpatient-focused travel assignment in Maysville, KY, requiring 1+ year of experience and an MSPT or DPT degree.

Responsibilities

• 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient split within the Rehabilitation department
• Predominantly adult outpatient orthopedic patient population
• Common diagnoses include joint replacements, back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain
• Strictly 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekend call required on a 1:4 rotation
• No float requirements
• Standard rehabilitation equipment used
• 100-bed acute care facility accredited by The Joint Commission
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
• Any color scrubs are acceptable

Requirements

• MSPT or DPT degree required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient experience required, with focus on back, neck, and shoulder pain and joint replacement
• Inpatient general medical experience preferred
• Experience with joint surgeries preferred
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Active PT license required if applicable
