Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract requiring PET/CT experience and at least 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Nuclear Medicine department in an acute care hospital setting
  • Performs therapeutic and diagnostic imaging procedures for radiologist and physician interpretation
  • PET/CT procedures are a core component of the role
  • Day shift schedule with start times ranging from 7:00–8:00 AM and end times ranging from 3:30–4:30 PM
  • Performs both therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, producing quality images for radiologist and physician interpretation
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be eligible at a reduced pay rate — the radius distance varies by state
  • Two professional references are required for consideration
  • A copy of your Driver's License is required for consideration
  • Full SSN and full DOB are required for consideration

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
  • PET/CT experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Valid Nuclear Medicine license or certification — license required if applicable
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
