Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week assignment at a Joint Commission-accredited community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring 1+ year of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department at a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
• Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Serves all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float coverage required as needed
• 13-week contract
• Hospital is located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, approximately 2.5 hours from Las Vegas, 3.25 hours from Phoenix, and 3.5 hours from the Grand Canyon
• Outdoor recreation nearby including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking
• Professional attire required; casual wear is not acceptable
• Weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience
• ARRT certification and BLS required
• License required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
