Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ER Charge Nurse position on nights, with a flexible 36 or 48-hour weekly schedule and first-time travelers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Hospital emergency department setting
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Floating required
• Charge nurse responsibilities in the ER on night shift
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1–2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
