Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience for a day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Interventional Radiology unit
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Call shifts required in addition to scheduled day shifts
- May float within the hospital or to a sister campus depending on assignment needs
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- ARRT registration required
- Valid state or compact license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses not accepted
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Orientation modules are completed prior to start date and may take 4–10 hours
- RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
- Only one holiday off can be approved per contract
- Any called-off scheduled shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning; a maximum of one contract extension is permitted, after which the traveler must be away for at least 6 months before returning
