Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience for a day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Interventional Radiology unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Call shifts required in addition to scheduled day shifts
• May float within the hospital or to a sister campus depending on assignment needs
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT registration required
• Valid state or compact license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses not accepted
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Orientation modules are completed prior to start date and may take 4–10 hours
• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
• Only one holiday off can be approved per contract
• Any called-off scheduled shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning; a maximum of one contract extension is permitted, after which the traveler must be away for at least 6 months before returning
