Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Illinois, requiring at least 1 year of experience with night shift availability and every other weekend commitment.

Hospital ICU setting
1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
Every other weekend required
Floating required
Block scheduling is not available
Charting via Epic

Requirements

Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
NIHSS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
At least 1 year of recent professional work history verifiable through references

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off for the duration of the contract
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
