Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital in Tucson, AZ
• Procedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy), IR cases, and peripheral vascular procedures
• STEMI coverage required
• Structural heart experience preferred but not required
• Equipment includes Impella and IABP
• MacLab used for monitoring and recording; training available for MacLab
• EMR: Cerner
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement of approximately 9–10 shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab experience required
• ARRT certification required; RCIS certification not accepted
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures
• Experience with Impella and IABP
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
• License required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Duties include scrubbing, monitoring/recording, and restocking procedure rooms
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
