Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital in Tucson, AZ
- Procedures include angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy), IR cases, and peripheral vascular procedures
- STEMI coverage required
- Structural heart experience preferred but not required
- Equipment includes Impella and IABP
- MacLab used for monitoring and recording; training available for MacLab
- EMR: Cerner
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call requirement of approximately 9–10 shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab experience required
- ARRT certification required; RCIS certification not accepted
- Current BLS required
- Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures
- Experience with Impella and IABP
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
- License required if applicable
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Duties include scrubbing, monitoring/recording, and restocking procedure rooms
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
