Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring telemetry experience and a valid MA RN license in hand.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Float Pool setting
• Telemetry monitoring required as part of patient care responsibilities
• Floating is a required component of this assignment
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Provides medical-surgical and telemetry care across units as part of a float pool
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested, and all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration — requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer
• Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand (facility will not pend licensure)
• Current certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
