Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MRI and CT certifications for a 13-week travel contract working a 7-on/7-off schedule in an acute care radiology setting.

Responsibilities

Works in an MRI and CT radiology department within an acute care hospital setting
Schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, with shifts running 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; work week begins Wednesday and ends the following Tuesday
On-call coverage required for MRI one weekend per month from 6:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Performs CT exams every other weekend from 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Patient ratio of 1:2 on both weekdays and weekends
Epic EMR experience preferred
Performs a variety of MRI exams using Magnetic Resonance Imaging principles, independently setting protocols and producing high-quality diagnostic images in direct communication with the Radiologist
Performs a variety of CT exams and invasive procedures using computed tomography, working directly with the Radiologist to set up exams and achieve optimal patient outcomes
Please submit any requested time off (RTO) at the time of application to ensure it can be honored

Requirements

ARRT (MRI) and ARRT (CT) certifications both required
Current BLS certification required
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
Completion of an approved MRI course preferred
Charge technologist experience preferred
Two professional references required for consideration
PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
License required if applicable
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
