Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications on night shift.

Requirements

Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Information

No time off permitted on holidays, including the day before and the day after each holiday

Work load is nice! The docs are great, and room rotations are great as well.

Cons

Charting here is terrible. You have to perform 7 steps to achieve the same goal where as if you used epic it would only require 2 steps. Plus, you must print out several pieces of paper for documenting charges instead of having someone on staff who codes the charges for you.
