Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a night shift, 7-on/7-off travel assignment in Birmingham, AL, requiring 2+ years of experience including OR and portable imaging skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Radiology department in a 595-bed comprehensive acute care hospital
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric, including critical and ambulatory patients
• Night shift schedule: 7-on/7-off, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• GE equipment used
• Cerner EMR
• No call requirements
• No float requirements
• Intermediate to advanced skill level preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Grey solid-color scrubs required; sweatshirts are not permitted under scrub shirts

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience
• ARRT and BLS (AHA only; American Red Cross not accepted) certifications required
• Experience with OR and portable imaging required
• Ability to work independently, as nights are staffed with only one other technologist
• License required if applicable
