Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for an outpatient ophthalmology surgery center position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Outpatient surgery center setting specializing in ophthalmology procedures
Ophthalmology OR cases
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
Designated on-call (DOT) and call shifts are required
No on-call ratio beyond scheduled call shifts
13-week contract

Requirements

Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
Ophthalmology OR experience strongly preferred
Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
An interview or pre-screen may be conducted prior to placement
