Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, with cardiac and peripheral experience preferred and first-time travelers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call required
• 13-week contract
• Charting performed in Epic
• No floating to sister facilities required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Royal blue and white scrubs required
• Up to 6 days of RTO permitted; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
• Only 1 holiday can be approved during the contract
• Pre-start online modules required (estimated 4–10 hours)
• Former employees of the facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• RCIS highly preferred
• Cardiac and peripheral cath lab experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid state or compact license required; pending licensure not accepted — license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
