Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position at a community hospital, requiring prior travel experience and the ability to pass a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam.

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry Float unit
• Floating required within skillset and acuity level
• Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts, 7:00–19:30
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• Provides Med/Surg and telemetry nursing care across units, floating based on skillset and patient acuity
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
