Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and expertise in Neuro and Ortho for a 13-week travel contract in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room (Surgery) setting
• Specialty focus on Neuro and Ortho cases, with robotic surgery cases also performed
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, with call requirements
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break from the facility before being considered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests made after an offer is extended will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are not explicitly mentioned as eligible; prior travel experience and versatility across specialties is emphasized

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not be expired)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Expertise in Neuro and Ortho surgical cases required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred; travelers must be versatile across case types
• Driver's License required for consideration
