Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Ortho) position at a Level 1 Trauma facility in Illinois, requiring Epic experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based orthopedic Med/Surg unit (6C Ortho)
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Associate's degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- English fluency required (speak, read, write)
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 continuous year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the system
- Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized care plans, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Contributes to peer development and maintains unit-specific competencies
