Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Magnet, teaching, Level II Trauma hospital.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting with 479 staffed beds — Magnet designated, teaching facility, and Level II Trauma Center
• X-Ray department requiring orthopedic and emergency trauma center experience
• Alternating weekly schedule: 5x8-hour shifts one week and 4x9-hour shifts the next, totaling 76 hours per pay period
• Shift start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• Weekend rotation every other weekend or every third weekend based on unit need
• Charting via Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All RTO requests must be finalized prior to consideration — no RTO during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 10 days of RTO for the duration of the contract
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• Free parking available in the North Lot in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology / X-Ray Tech experience
• Orthopedic and emergency trauma center experience required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
