Responsibilities
- 23-bed Cardiac ICU within a nationally recognized children's hospital, ranked #5 in the nation and #1 in the Midwest by USNWR for two consecutive years
- Patient population includes complex congenital and acquired heart disease, VAD patients, and heart transplant recipients
- Staffing ratio of 1:1–2
- Shift: Nights, 7p–7a (4x12s); 3x12 schedules may also be available
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to Cardiac Stepdown and PICU units, as well as potential affiliate hospitals nearby

- Provides critical care nursing to complex pediatric cardiac patients, including those on VADs and in the heart transplant program
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved automatically
- Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to work as a traveler
