Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a 330-bed short-term acute care hospital and major teaching hospital, member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
• Level II Trauma facility
• Critical Care Float Pool position covering multiple ICU areas
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking available for travelers in both a parking lot and parking garage
• Float pool position covering critical care units within the hospital
• Black scrubs required; a Cabell-branded t-shirt may be worn in place of a scrub top
• When assigned to the Surgery department, facility-provided scrubs must be worn
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
