Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Magnet-designated Critical Access Hospital in Jacksonville, IL, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active IL RN license.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on all shifts
• May float between two Med/Surg units as needed to meet facility needs
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius requirement
• 25-bed Critical Access, Magnet-designated hospital
• Parking permit is required but provided at no cost
• Any solid scrub color is acceptable
• Schedule and time off requests should be discussed directly with the manager
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; candidates actively in the application process with an ETA will also be considered
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
