Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PACU position at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of RN experience including at least 1 year of travel PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- PACU setting within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
- 36-hour work week with day/night rotating shifts
- Up to 2 weekend shifts per month required
- Epic used for charting
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is encouraged
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but will be offered a reduced rate
- RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of PACU travel nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of academic medical center experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
