Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PACU Night position at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of RN experience and prior travel PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- PACU setting within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
- 36-hour work week, Monday through Thursday
- Night shift position
- Uses Epic for charting
- UKG/Kronos timekeeping system
- 13-week contract
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at rates ranging from $17–$22 per day
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience as a travel nurse required
- Minimum 1 year of academic medical center experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
