Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 6 months of home health experience for a 10-week travel contract in the South Bay area of California.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting with training conducted at the Downey location and primary work in the South Bay coverage area
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 40 hours per week
• Epic EMR used at this facility
• Responsibilities include patient assessment visits, building care plans, completing follow-up and discharge visits, and communicating with care teams and physicians
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• Per facility policy, contingent workers who have previously worked on assignment at this facility may not exceed two years of cumulative service within a two-year period without a minimum 90-day break in assignment

Requirements

• Active CA OT license required if applicable — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 6 months of home health experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Epic EMR experience
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
