Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Floating required to other facilities within a 75-mile radius to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Charting is performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license and a utility bill with matching address (dated within the last 3 months) required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Permanent address must be located outside a 75-mile radius of the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted
• Work history gaps of 3 months or more must include an explanation
