Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a day shift travel contract requiring float capability and EKG rhythm interpretation exam passage.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital ICU setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Float to MS, MS/Tele, ED, and IMC required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
