Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level I Trauma hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Works in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a large, high-volume acute care hospital with 11 labs and a Level I Trauma designation
- Handles approximately 40–50 cases per day
- 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Epic EMR is used in this position
- On-call required approximately 4–5 times per month, including 1 weekend per month
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or Compact (NLC) RN license currently in hand — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS — pending certifications will not be accepted
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Orientation is 12 hours
