Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab/IR Lab experience, RCIS certification, and on-call availability for a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend availability is required
• On-call is required, averaging 9–13 days per 6-week period; weekday call runs 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend call runs Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM on a rotating basis
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Block scheduling is not available
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a local pay rate
• Maximum of 1 RTO request will be accommodated for the duration of the contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or IR Lab experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required
• IR Tech experience required in addition to RCIS
• Strong Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedural experience required
• Active, non-pending state license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
