Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 18 months of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a large 900-bed hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Details

• Radiology department in a large 900-bed acute care hospital
• Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with on-call every other weekend
• 37.5 hours per week
• Must be comfortable performing imaging in the OR
• GE imaging equipment used
• Epic EMR (charting)
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Active NJ State RT license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume hospital setting
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and assess safety, procedure readiness, and patient comfort
• Monitor for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging workflow
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and strong oral and written communication skills are essential
