Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Hot Springs, AR, requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting with a focus on Med/Surg and Orthopedic specialties
• 40-bed unit with a 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratio
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• Charting is performed in Meditech
• 13-week contract
• Navy scrubs are required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Active Nursys licensure verification required

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
