Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is not approved
• No on-call ratio or structured on-call rotation — call is part of the OR schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma OR experience required
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity hospital environments with diverse and complex cases required
• Strong OR skills checklist scores required
• Burn experience preferred

• This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume surgical and trauma cases
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
