Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
- Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling is not approved
- No on-call ratio or structured on-call rotation — call is part of the OR schedule
Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma OR experience required
- Experience in high-volume, high-acuity hospital environments with diverse and complex cases required
- Strong OR skills checklist scores required
- Burn experience preferred
Additional Information
- This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume surgical and trauma cases
- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
