Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR required
• Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, O2 protocol management, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, and isolation precaution adherence
• Computerized documentation via Epic is used throughout the unit

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• O2 protocol management skills required
• Non-invasive airway management skills required
• Peripheral line care and management experience required
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required
• Rapid response team activation experience required
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
