Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient travel assignment in Hartsville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient PT setting at a regional medical center in Hartsville, SC
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations approximately every 5 weeks
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized PT treatment plans, and supervising PT assistants and aides
• Provides patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
• First-time travelers will be considered provided all other requirements are met

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience required; hospital experience preferred
• Active SC PT license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; must be issued through the American Heart Association (RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
