Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical (General Surgery) position in Baton Rouge, LA, working nights with no locals accepted.
Responsibilities
- Medical-Surgical unit focused on General Surgery patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–17:30
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates will not be considered for this position
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Easter weekend RTO cannot be accommodated
- All time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active LA or Compact RN license required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
