Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Poplar Bluff, MO, requiring 2+ years of experience and a Missouri or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting, with floating required between two Med/Surg units (Floor 1 and Floor 4)
• Unit scope includes orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients across two floors
• 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5–7 depending on acuity
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration, with a maximum of 36 hours; blackout dates may include Easter, Mother's Day, and Memorial Day
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
