Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a 13-week contract in Ohio, performing cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a hospital-based cardiac cath lab
• Procedures include routine and emergent heart cath procedures, peripheral lab, and EP lab interventions such as Impella and IABP support
• Duties include scrubbing and monitoring/documenting across multiple modalities within the cath lab
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements include a 45-minute response time, two nights per week and one weekend per month
• Collaborates with physicians, team members, and patients/families to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Works directly under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager
• Makes independent and collaborative decisions regarding patient care and documentation
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT(R) certifications required
• Active Ohio state license required if applicable
• At least 1 year of travel experience preferred
