Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) position working night shifts with rotating weekends and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

LDRP unit providing labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered environment
All staff are trained in GYN surgical care
Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
Rotating weekend requirement
One 12-hour call shift required per pay period
13-week contract
Provide comprehensive LDRP care including labor support, delivery, recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care
This facility strictly enforces all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for missing certifications or experience
COVID-19 vaccine not required for this position

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS (Healthcare Provider level), ACLS (AHA), and NRP
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery required
Basic fetal monitoring skills required
STABLE certification preferred
Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates preferred

Pros

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
