Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR position at an ambulatory surgery center in the Atlanta area, requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of OR experience.

• Position is in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting
• OR specialty with orthopedic experience preferred
• AM shift, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of OR experience required
• Orthopedic experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and RTO during holiday periods must be spread out — consecutive holiday days will not be approved
