Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a busy Operating Room position in Chicago, IL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with the potential for extended hours depending on caseload
Schedule is five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
On-call requirement of one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks
Busy OR department performing open heart surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and a full range of general surgical cases
Epic EMR is used and experience is required
DOB and SSN are required for consideration
Local candidates are welcome to apply
13-week contract

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
NIHSS certification required
DCI/BVP certification required
Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
Epic EMR experience required
