Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring Epic experience and ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.

Responsibilities

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population includes trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to IMC (Intermediate Care) to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• Maximum of one RTO request for the duration of the assignment
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
