Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a 4x10 day shift contract in an active IR setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend availability required
• On-call availability required
• May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager's request
• 30-minute meal break
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a local rate
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Vaccination status must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
• Valid ARRT certification
• IEMA licensure required
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• IL license required (no emergency or pending licensure)
• License required if applicable
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with at least 1 year in an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree
