Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Laguna Hills, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of staff nursing experience and an active CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital ICU setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 13-week contract
• Floating required to like patients on other units and ED holding
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• EMR: Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at the local pay rate
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience as a staff nurse (non-travel) at a previous facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic EMR experience
