Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Unit (ICU) position at an Iowa-based medical center, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a hospital Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU)
• Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract
• Every third weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Local candidates are accepted for this position in Iowa with a local pay rate available
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred for RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS cards must include images of both the front and back of the card

Requirements

• Active RN license — Iowa (IA) or Compact state license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications may be required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Professional references required for consideration
