Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 14-week travel contract in a busy rehab department offering a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and community-based therapy services in rural Montana.

Responsibilities

• Busy therapy department providing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
• Physical therapy services include inpatient hospital care, inpatient nursing home care, outpatient clinic, local school visits, and home care visits
• Specialized services offered include hydrotherapy, pelvic health therapy, dry needling, LSVT Big and Loud Program, and pain management
• Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmentally delayed pediatric cases
• Day shift schedule
• The facility is a private, not-for-profit critical access hospital serving a rural community in Sheridan County, Montana, and surrounding areas including parts of Canada and North Dakota
• The facility operates acute care, long-term care, and a full-service Rural Health Clinic
• The therapy department collaborates with occupational therapy and speech therapy teams, with access to a hydrotherapy pool
• The facility will assist in securing housing for the duration of the assignment — candidates with housing questions are encouraged to reach out directly
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Requirements

• Current state PT license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required
