Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a credentialed Oncology Data Specialist (Tumor Registrar) for a remote, day-shift contract position requiring an ODS certificate and prior Cancer Registry experience.

Responsibilities

• Fully remote position supporting an acute care medical center's cancer registry program
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include oncology data collection, abstraction, and management within the cancer registry
• Position falls under the Trauma Registrar sub-modality within the Nursing category

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certificate required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cancer Registry
• Associate's degree or equivalent (minimum 60 college-level credits) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be a W-2 employee of the placing agency
